LEO & CLIO 2 (close window to return)

A detective novel where sensual plots mixed with thrills and mystery take you on a detecive's journey into the unexpected. Book 2

The detective agency had been open for nearly a week since it began a new life that Monday, and today was a Friday. They were all there at their desks, except Lilly and Clio, both of whom were undercover, when she walked in. If Leon’s sleuth Angels were the most beautiful women in Wimbledon, the woman who entered and seized their wonderment was a sheer goddess. Leon sprang up from his desk and walked up to her immediately.
“Good morning, I am Leon. May I ask how we might be able to help you?”
She smiled, and it was as if the sun had just appeared after an eclipse. “Good Morning, Leon. I need some detective work carried out, but unfortunately, I can’t go to the police.”
“I see. Please, accompany me to our interview lounge, and we can discuss your requirements.” He took her over to the door to the passage and opened it for her, “Please. After you.”
They went through, and the angels looked on as the door shut. Then, they stared at each other.
“Some strong competition there for Leon’s attentions,” Katie said.
“She’s certainly one bloody beautiful lassie, that’s for sure,” Sarah said. “Did you see how entranced Leon became at the sight of her?”
Pamela stood up. “Shall I go and see if they need anything?”
“No. The drinks machine and the cupboard full of biscuits will suffice. If Leon needs anything, he’ll use the intercom,” Katie told her, and Pamela sat back in her chair.
Suddenly, the door to the street opened, and three foreign-looking men marched in. The one who entered first looked around at each of them. “Where is the woman who just came in?” he said with an Eastern European accent.
